Nolan, born and raised in Monroe, is a sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Music. He began playing the flute at 14 and has not been able to stop. He has always loved playing music, playing piano growing up, even having a Mozart birthday cake for his 7th birthday. You will usually find him doing homework, practicing, eating pesto, or walking somewhere to do one of those three. Nolan is also on the MSU Solar Racing Team. He loves the imagery this piece conjures, how no matter what fantasy you immerse yourself in within this song’s notes, it manages to strike a chord in your heart. He is extremely thankful for the opportunity to play this piece, to his family for paving the way for him to be here, and hopes you have a wonderful, transformative time.
